Greens Aeration 4/1/24

We're aerating all greens today. We use a small, 1/4" hollow tine to ensure that they heal quickly. This process helps to remove organic matter and reduce compaction. We'll then topdress and brush the greens to work the sand into the aeration holes. Since we use such small tines, the holes will be healed within a week or two. We'll finish the process by applying nutrients and 007 bent grass seed. We'll resume mowing and rolling greens next week.
